What's Available?

Here at StedyChefs, we offer a range of unique courses for adults with disabilities, local schools, colleges and provisions. All of our courses are based around Catering and Hospitality and provide great hands-on experiences. All courses that are taught at StedyChefs can lead to gaining employability skills, independent living skills, and help to build lifelong friendships with peers who have similar interests.
During the ‘Creating Opportunities’ Course, students will gain an insight into the life of a working Chef. Following a professional syllabus, students will learn a huge array of both homely and expert dishes. Students will always have the opportunity to take home recipes and anything they may find useful from the day. E.G. If a student is unable to read or write, we will happily let them create a demonstration video for personal use only. Students will get the opportunity to visit different kitchen environments and gain hands-on work experience. All students will work toward gaining an accredited Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.

Whilst enrolled on a StedyChefs course, students will obtain certificates each module to showcase some of the skills which they have learnt.

Trips are organised for each module. These are usually based around the topics which they have been focusing on – or based on Catering in general.

Includes lunch and a transport service is available upon request.
